The Sport Resort heats its nine pavilions (with a total of over 1000 beds), indoor swimming pool and triple gymnasium with a fully automatic woodchip heating system. Wood chip demand amounts to 3500 Sm3 per year, saving around 252,000 litres of heating oil per year and corresponding to a reduction in CO2 omissions of over 760 tonnes.
On our buildings’ flat roofs, 1491 solar modules (1645 m²) produce approx. 250,000 kWh of environmentally-friendly electricity per year.
Thanks to 80 solar panels (208 m²) mounted on the roof of the indoor pool, the power of the sun is used to heat the spring water in the swimming pool (28°).
The holiday village has the unique benefit of an on-site water source, providing guests with the best spring water in quantities sufficient for drinking, showering, swimming or cleaning.
2 charging stations of the EW Goms are available at the indoor swimming pool car park.
We collect and separate waste for proper recycling. Produce as little waste as possible and dispose of it in the recycling container. Bring your own reusable lunch bag.
Help us dispose of empty glass and PET bottles, as well as aluminium, cardboard, paper and plastic in the special waste bins. Please do not leave your waste lying around our beautiful natural environment.
We use as little single-use plastic as possible. Help out by bringing your own drinking bottles. These can be refilled again and again with our fresh spring water.
Ventilation: If you need fresh air, you can fully open the window for a few minutes. Avoid tilting the window, as this uses a lot of heating energy.
Lighting: Always turn off the lights when leaving the room to save electricity.
